Who needs the visa
Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority lists Bangladesh among travel documents that require an entry visa 2. The Dhaka High Commission says holders of ordinary Bangladesh passports must apply before arrival 1.
Bangladeshi diplomatic and official passport holders are exempt under the Dhaka guidance 1. That exemption does not apply to an ordinary passport.
What you pay
The government application fee is the taka equivalent of S$30 for each person 1. The authorised agent charges its own fee on top. The High Commission page does not publish one standard agent amount.
Ask for an itemised receipt showing the S$30-equivalent application charge and the separate agent service fee. Do not treat the agent total as the government visa price.
Use a current authorised agent
The Dhaka High Commission says applications must be submitted online through one of its authorised visa agents in Dhaka 1. Its page carries the current list and contact details.
Check the list on the High Commission website on the day you submit. A business calling itself a Singapore visa agent is not enough if it is absent from that official list.
Documents and timing
The application uses the Singapore visa form, photograph and passport biodata copy, with supporting documents for the purpose of travel 1,2. ICA's Bangladesh page gives the current document rules 2.
The High Commission gives at least five working days for a complete application, excluding the submission day 1. Incomplete applications and peak periods can take longer. Buy changeable travel arrangements if approval is still pending.
A visa is permission to seek entry
The High Commission states that a visa is not an immigration pass and does not guarantee entry 1. An ICA officer decides at the checkpoint and grants the period of stay.
The stay allowed is not the same as the visa validity. Read the electronic visit pass sent after arrival and note the last permitted day 2.
