A Bangladesh tourist should use Qatar's Hayya platform and check the Tourist Visa A1 route rather than assume visa-free arrival 1,2. Hayya lists a QAR 100 e-visa fee, which is non-refundable 2. Qatar's Ministry of Public Health lists mandatory visitor health insurance at QAR 50 for each month 3. The visa and basic one-month insurance start at QAR 150 before accommodation, flights or any private service charge.

Use Hayya for the tourist route

Qatar's Ministry of Interior describes Hayya as the platform for tourist visa applications from around the world 1. Hayya lists Tourist Visa A1 as one of its single-entry visit types 2.

Bangladesh is not named in the Ministry's published groups for free on-arrival tourist visas 4. Apply under the available Hayya route and obtain approval before travel.

The visa fee is QAR 100

Hayya's official FAQ gives QAR 100 as the e-visa fee and says it is not refundable, whatever happens to the travel plan 2. Payment must be made within 14 days after the status changes to pending payment, or the application is cancelled 2.

The fee is for the e-visa decision. It does not buy flights, a hotel, insurance or entry approval at the border.

Add the health insurance

The Ministry of Public Health publishes a QAR 50 monthly premium for the mandatory visitor policy 3. Its basic cover includes emergency treatment up to QAR 150,000, emergency assistance and defined repatriation cover 3.

Extra cover can cost more. An international policy is accepted only when it meets the Ministry's conditions, including Qatar coverage, full-trip validity and the stated emergency limits 3.

Tickets, passport and accommodation

The Ministry of Interior says on-arrival routes require a passport valid for at least three months, confirmed onward or return travel and accepted health insurance 1. Hayya can ask for accommodation data and other documents for the chosen visa type 2.

Use the conditions displayed in the live application for a Bangladesh passport. Visa policies can change without notice, which the Ministry states on its visa page 1.

A visit visa is not a work permit

The A1 route is for a tourist visit. Employment needs a Qatar employer and the work and residence process. Do not pay a recruiter who presents a tourist e-visa as employment permission.

For a job journey, compare the contract, employer approval and Bangladesh migrant-worker clearance before paying. The QAR 100 tourist price is not the cost of a lawful worker route.
